Day 4: June 26

A wet day didn’t stop these intrepid explorers. Slow start and then into Canada Place.

We wandered about Gastown, bought a few souvenirs and worked out what we had to do for the following day’s cruise.

We may not have made it to stop 14 on the hop-on, hop-off bus the day before but here we are!
Whistles and steam when Madonna got her photo.
A little bit wet!
Donna got a free ride as we left the food court.

Donna and I returned to the house while the others visited China Town and a pub for lunch.

Lunch at the pub for our remaining walkers.

They also crossed over Hastings Street. We have found that incredibly confronting and sad. Human beings, living altogether on this street, who have been physically and mentally destroyed by their addiction to fentanyl, a synthetic opioid.

Just before Hastings Street.

Donna and I tried an Uber Eats delivery which was a bit of a fail. Poor driver was on his first day and got lost. Both meals were luke-warm and it was hard to name the vegetables in Donna’s tempura.

A rainy afternoon sleep and slow afternoon gathering before finding another local sports club to watch the soccer.

Wayne received a ‘48’ or questionable red card as he began his nightly rant on soccer coaching style.
Danny discovered that Wayne really does love the Roosters.
Thanks for booking, Dian (Dan is hard name over here. So is Ann – Inn).
