Visit to Glacier Bay
What a surreal experience – sailing next to spectacular terrain and coming up close to Marjorie Glacier. The ship stayed there for about an hour doing a 360 so we could literally view the glacier from our balcony. Our photos don’t do this magnificent landscape justice.

We saw otters, a couple of seal, heaps of gulls and seabirds and a coastal brown bear. There was a whale but it was on the other side of the ship. Bringing the binoculars was a great advantage.

Professional photos were taken on the deck. A bit of fun for all of us. This post may be updated if we get some good photos.
Lunch was in the fancy restaurant, Pinnacle Grill. It did not disappoint – delicious food and great service.

Most of us retired to the cabin for an afternoon sleep and then regrouped to watch the soccer.

We met up with Brooke, her sister, Nicole, and Trey and finished the night listening to Reece and her band.

Once again, Jo and Dave were the last ones standing. Wayne and I nearly got there but pulled up stumps at 12:15 of the a.m.
